Our original design Avi-Orb bird feeders and houses are made from a special terra cotta clay.
The terra cotta we use is somewhat like the type of clay used for flower pots only glazed on top and fired higher to make it stronger.

This is an example of our terra cotta wild bird feeders.
We wanted a feeder that was looked nice in the garden and would last but most of all we wanted a feeder the birds would use.
These feeders are durable enough for our minus 30° F. winters and so hard that any squirrel would blunt his teeth on them.
As we add more content to the site we will make note of it on our "whats new" news page.
